Moussa A. Helo – Migrated to the United States with his family at age seven and grew up in Los Angeles area.

After high school, Moussa pursued an education in Philosophy. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge. After College, Moussa attended Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Three years Later, upon returning to Los Angeles, he sat for the State Bar, passed, and was admitted.

Moussa brings a wide variety of legal experience. While attending law school, Moussa was employed by the Michigan State Attorney General’s Office; primarily in the Consumer Protection Department where he overlooked the application and certification process of charitable trusts and organizations. Along with continuous employment, Moussa found time to volunteer in his community. He volunteered for the Michigan State University Student Legal Services providing legal defense to college student facing misdemeanor charges. In addition, Moussa became certified as a mediator and volunteered at local courts to help resolve small claims suits.

After law school, and while preparing for the California Bar, Moussa became a certified law clerk with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Anti-Gang Division, where he prosecuted criminals. During that time, Moussa led and won his first jury and bench trials. While interning with the LACA, Moussa also interned at our office and has been with our office since then.
